ARTS & CULTURAL RESOURCE DIRECTORY
The Southern Arizona Arts & Cultural Alliance is working on Southern Arizona's first comprehensive Arts and Cultural Resource Databank that may be used by the community. Data includes information about arts organizations in the area, case studies about business alliances with the arts, services local artists may offer to businesses and research about the impact of the arts on K-12 education, economic development and the quality of life.
The databank can be used for just about anything – hiring local talent for parties, organizing special events or employee mixers and locating a specific medium of art or genre of artist for commission work. The databank provides access to nearly everything arts and cultural related, including, but not limited to:
• Artists in all mediums (jewelry, ceramics, painting, glass, photography, crafts, fiber and more)
• Musicians and bands in all genres of music (jazz, classical, folk, international, pop, country and more)
• Local art and cultural organizations, not-for-profits and service companies
• Community programs and services centered in the arts
• Public artists
• Culinary art contacts
• Local art teachers
• Instructional classes and demonstrations
• Fashion and design affiliates
• Student art and music ensembles
