Marana Offers Second Chance to Experience Senior Prom, April 21

Southern Arizona Arts and Cultural Alliance and Marana Health Center to present Senior Prom, featuring dinner, drinks, music, classic car show and more

Normally, the opportunity comes around once in a lifetime, but one night will bring back the special occasion to dress up for Senior Prom years after high school.

Take a trip to the great eras of the 1940's, 50's and 60's for the Senior Prom, presented by Southern Arizona Arts and Cultural Alliance on Saturday, April 21. The evening will be one to remember, featuring dinner, cocktails and dancing at the Marana Health Center (MHC) Healthcare, 13395 N. Marana Main St.

Attendees can adventure back to their high school days of zoot suits and poodle skirts, when everyone danced the jitterbug and swung to the sounds of big band greats, such as Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey and Duke Ellington.  

This celebration of yesteryear begins at 4 p.m. with cocktails and a cash bar benefitting arts programs in the community and schools. At 5 p.m., dinner will be served, providing an assortment of delicious foods, and 6:30 p.m. marks the grand entrance of a big band orchestra performance.

MHC's Senior Prom will include a historical car show, Marana Heritage Conservancy displays and live music under the evening sky.

The health center promotes and supports accessible and affordable primary health care services for all individuals independent of socio-economic status, national origin, financial means or educational status.
