Business Committee for the Arts Programs
The art@work program provides SABCA businesses with the resources to organize art exhibitions and programs, where employees can bring the visual, literary and performing art they create at home to work and showcase it in front of colleagues, visitors and clients. Another aspect of art@work brings special events – featuring local musicians, artists and performing arts groups – to the workplace during lunch or after hours.
A NIGHT AT… gives SABCA partners free, or highly discounted, tickets to local art and cultural events – including theatre, live music, major concerts, festivals, dance performances and much more. SABCA members can distribute tickets as employee incentives, team building opportunities, corporate parties, group functions or simply A NIGHT OUT!
Business Volunteers for the Arts (BVA)
The SABCA business volunteers program gives employees a chance to connect with the community and donate their time to local arts organizations around Southern Arizona. The concept is straightforward -- Business Volunteers for the Arts® (BVA) is a pro-bono management consulting program operating in cities around the United States, by partner organizations with Americans for the Arts. BVA helps nonprofit art groups recruit and place specialized business executives to assist with corresponding management projects. At the same time, BVA provides unique leadership development opportunities for volunteers, allowing them to connect with an art organization and collaborate with like-minded business people.
The Southern Ariizona Arts & Cultural Resource Directory Databank
provides businesses with information about local arts organizations, case studies about business alliances with the arts, services the arts can offer companies and research about the impact of the arts on K-12 education, economic development and the quality of life.
