ARTS & CRAFTS STUDIO
Painting Classes, Textiles & Sewing, Pottery, Craft Arts, Kiln Works, Glass Fusing Classes, DIY projects and more. Artists can teach classes, and the community can take classes in over 30 mediums
Painters, potters, jewelers, weavers, glass artists, and general DIYers can teach classes in any medium, mixed-media, and interdisciplinary arts and crafts. The room is equipped with tables, chairs, easels, paper for covering tables, basic supplies and materials. Maximum capacity: 15-30, depending on activity.
The CATALYST Arts & Crafts Studio was conceived as a place where we can begin to build more opportunities for learning, while creating new opportunities for artists to generate income through teaching.
These spaces can be used by artists, makers, creatives, professionals, and community members to both teach workshops, and take workshops. Each year SAACA provides more than 200,000 unique arts and cultural engagement opportunities for the community; we would like to invite teaching artists and makers to lead workshops, programs and activities at Catalyst.
