Joe Bourne and Friends http://www.joebourne.com/ An award-winning vocalist, Joe Bourne is well known in European circles for what he has achieved in the popular, light music genre. The roots of this talented singer / entertainer are anchored deeply in Jazz, blues and spiritual music. Born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Bourne was inspired by many of the big names of Jazz that toured the Boston area and luminaries such as Lou Rawls, Billy Eckstine, Arthur Prysock, and Nat King Cole. Whether it's a swinging rendition of the fun song Goody Goody, Oscar Brown's philosophical "Dhat Dher" the romantic ballad of Earl Garner's "Misty", Duke Ellington's "Satin Doll", a gut wrenching "Stormy Monday Blues", a cool Bossa Nova, or his special tribute to the great Nat King Cole, Joe always seems to capture the audience with his own style and warm mellifluous light baritone, voice and his dynamic showmanship. The performance will feature: Joe Bourne, Vocals Chris Pena, Keys Fred Hayes, Drums Mike Levy, Bass Learn More at http://www.joebourne.com/ |
