Musical Magic for Kids
First Saturday, Monthly
Listen, Laugh, Dance and Sing! Each month, children can enjoy interactive performances through the youth arts based interactive music and dance series Just for Kids and Musical Magic for Kids.
The program exists through partnerships with the area’s most acclaimed arts organizations – Tucson Symphony Orchestra, Civic Orchestra of Tucson, the Music and Dance Academy and many others. Families are invited to participate in each of the performances together.
With extensive research supporting arts education as an imperative mental development step for youth, SAACA has strived to create free opportunities for youth to engage in the arts in a fun and interactive way. The partnership between the Town of Oro Valley and the Southern Arizona Arts and Cultural Alliance helps to bring these opportunities to the community free of charge. The program is fully underwritten by the Town of Oro Valley.
Chairs are provided on a first come, first serve basis. Performances are approximately 45 minutes in length.
