Tickets are selling fast for the annual community wide food and wine festival, presented by Southern Arizona Arts & Cultural Alliance, Local First Arizona & Tucson Botanical Gardens With less than two weeks left before Tucson's largest locally-focused culinary festival, tickets are expected to sell out! The 6th Annual SAVOR Southern Arizona Food and Wine Festival is set to deliver a premiere Culinary Arts celebration highlighting Southern Arizona as a serious culinary destination for foodies across the country. SAVOR will once again bring together over 60 restaurants, breweries, wineries, and distilleries to the lush and historic Tucson Botanical Gardens on Saturday, February 2, 2019 from 11 AM to 3 PM.
Presented in partnership with the Southern Arizona Arts & Cultural Alliance, Local First Arizona, and Tucson Botanical Gardens; all three non-profit organizations strive to educate and promote the beauty and culture of Southern Arizona in their own unique way. "The Savor Food and Wine Festival not only showcases the rich and delicious culture of the region, but highlights the importance of supporting these local food businesses in our daily lives," said Kimber Lanning, Founder and Executive Director of Local First Arizona. "Much of Southern Arizona's local economy is driven by those in the dining, culinary, and local foods industries. Without them, we wouldn't have the diverse culture and economy that we see today in Tucson and beyond." The Festival will bring together stars of Tucson’s culinary scene with acclaimed regional chefs, wine and spirits experts, and leaders in the local Heritage Foods movement. Attendees will also get the chance to enjoy live educational food demos, live musical performances, unique arts experiences, a signature event raffle and admission to Butterfly Magic and the "Out of the Woods" on tour from the New York Botanical Garden exhibit at the Tucson Botanical Gardens. Now in its sixth year, the SAVOR Southern Arizona Food and Wine Festival continues to grow in both featured talent and attendees. Last year’s sold-out event brought over 1,300 guests to SAVOR, making it the largest Food & Wine Festival in Southern Arizona.
