Kevin Pakulis Band
Blues & Americana
Award-winning Americana singer-songwriter Kevin Pakulis is a master musician and story teller. Emerging in 2004 from Tucson’s deep pool of talented musicians, his award-winning edgy, guitar-driven compositions, delivered with plenty of raw energy, earned him national and international attention with his debut release of Yeah Yeah Yeah. No Depression Magazine put it most succinctly in their review: “His music represents the best of a genre.” Kevin’s songwriting ranges from introspective and reflective to satirical and political, from rocking blues anthems to quiet acoustic pieces. Whatever the message or the sound, the constant is the soulful honesty of the art. Anyone who has ever been to Tucson in the summer cannot help but sing along when they hear the chorus of the title track to Yeah Yeah Yeah: “It’s hot here, hot as hell here, swamp cooler and a cold beer,” a bluesy haiku on the Sonoran Desert summer. Tempered by time and experience, the latest offering, Holliday (Summer, 2018) revisits the themes of life in the Sonoran Desert, love in its many forms, and the nuances of social disparity. Over the years, Pakulis has opened for numerous major acts including Billie Joe Shaver, Willie Nelson, Leon Russell, Dwight Yoakam, Sonny Landreth, John Gorka, Little Feat, and Merle Haggard.

Heather Lil’ Mama Hardy Band
Blues & Soul
Heather “Lil’ Mama” Hardy began studying the piano at age six and picked up the violin at nine. An active collaborator since her college years at the Manhattan School of Music, she has toured with the world with The False Prophets, an internationally famous Punk band, Allen Ginsberg, the Sam Taylor Band, Marble, The American Roots Orchestra, Tim Beattie's Big Dog and many more. In 1995, her smooth ambient violin playing and tasty, soulful “wah-wah” blues solos captivated audiences and helped the Sam Taylor Band win the 1995 Arizona Blues Showdown. That was followed by taking second place in the International Blues Talent Competition in Memphis and a European tour. By 1996, Heather had formed her Lil' Mama Band, taking it to New York in 1997. In 2000, she was inducted into the Arizona Blues Hall of Fame. In 2003 she performed throughout California with The Amity Foundation's Prison projects, and she continues to this day working with the foundation to bring music to prisons and their Therapeutic Communities throughout Arizona, New Mexico and California. Her newest release, Heather Lil' Mama Hardy LIVE in Tucson, was released February 2017.
