Remember to set your alarm, and we’ll see you in the morning! Muralist/Public Artist and 2022 Arizona Artist Leader of the year (Arizona Capital Times), Ignacio Garcia is well known throughout Arizona and the west coast for his 3D chalk art and large photo-realistic murals, including “the Empowered Woman” in Downtown Tucson. He often plays on whimsical, playful pop art ideas, the blending of his street art, and the abstract contribution of the Sonoran lifestyle. Garcia is an artistic studies graduate of the East Valley Institute of Technology in Mesa, Arizona as well as the Gnomon Workshop in Hollywood, California. Ignacio offers innovation and a unique point of view. A fundamental motivation of his work is to challenge the viewers and ignite curiosity.
