The Oro Valley Concert Series supports local musicians with the opportunity to perform monthly in the community’s largest shopping center. The series supports a range in music genres, from country to rock and jazz to classical. The Oro Valley concert series truly has something for every taste of music.
Why?As a core Business and Arts Integration method, the Oro Valley Concert Series blends the mutually beneficial relationship that the arts can have alongside the business model. The series draws hundreds of attendees monthly to the Oro Valley Marketplace. In a partnership with the Town of Oro Valley, this program impacts economic development, while providing community exposure to the arts, and supporting local musicians.

Bouncing Czechs Oktoberfest The Bouncing Czechs - Tucson’s Polka Band - have been performing in the Tucson area for 25 years. The 5-piece band performs year-round throughout Arizona and are popular for playing music for Oktoberfests. The music of the Bouncing Czechs ranges from the traditional polkas and waltzes, to the popular American music of the pre-Bebop era. All experienced and accomplished musicians, the band features accordion, trumpet, clarinet/alto sax, tuba and drums. Yes, that’s right. This Dutch based, drive by piano player hits hard and will take no prisoners! As soon as he starts pounding the ivories, you’ll be on your way to the Land of Good Times. Mr.Boogie Woogie (aka) Eric-Jan Overbeek was born on April 5, 1967 in Nieuw Vennep, the Netherlands. Mesmerized by that old piano in the living room, Eric-Jan began studying classical piano at the age of eight. During his 30 year career he has opened the stage for international giants of blues like Matt "Guitar" Murphy, Johnny Copeland, Van Morrison, Koko Taylor, Magic Slim and the Teardrops and even The Blues Brothers Band. Lead vocalist, Sheryl Ann Mckinley, is joined by three masterful local performers: Robert Resetar on piano, Jack Wood on bass and the Max Goldschmid on trumpet and sax. Expect the unexpected! Sheryl Ann draws deeply from the Great American Songbook and Holiday repertoire, adding in her signature flair to each song and honoring her musicians with room to shine and explore.
