Tickets are now on sale for the annual community wide food and wine festival, presented by Southern Arizona Arts and Cultural Alliance, Local First Arizona & Tucson Botanical Gardens. (TUCSON, Ariz.) — Early bird ticket sales have begun for the 4th Annual SAVOR Food and Wine Festival. Delivering a premiere Culinary Arts celebration highlighting Southern Arizona as a premier epicurean destination. SAVOR will once again bring together over 70 restaurants, chefs, breweries, wine, and specialty food purveyors at the lush and historic Tucson Botanical Gardens on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2017 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Presented in partnership with the Southern Arizona Arts and Cultural Alliance, Local First Arizona, and Tucson Botanical Gardens; all three non-profit organizations strive to educate and promote the beauty and culture of Southern Arizona in their own unique way. On Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 10:30am, more than 20 residents at the Catalina Springs Memory Care residence (9685 N. Oracle Road) will be presented with individualized headsets and an iPod Shuffle with customized music play lists. The MUSIC & MEMORY project is a culmination of nearly six months of fundraising efforts by the Oro Valley Youth Advisory Council, as well as three months of planning, research and preparation to provide the most customized music experience for each participating resident. |
