Now in its fourth year, the sugary event returns to Loews Ventana Canyon Resort, 7000 N. Resort Dr. A treat for the eyes with its beautiful mountain views, the resort features a charming indoor and outdoor location to present the rows of baked, chilled and frosted decadence.

This exhibition presents prints, drawings, paintings, and photographs that celebrate the world, including lively imagery of dynamics, gesture, flow, oscillation in nature and abstract explorations of motion, rhythm, and atmosphere.
The Fall 2016 Artist Open Studio Tours features hundreds of local artists in a newly expanded multiple geographic weekend format throughout all of Southern Arizona. New technology platforms feature interactive Open Studio Tour maps,
and more online resources for visitors attending the tours.

The Fall Open Studio Tour in Southern Arizona is one of the largest self-guided tours of artist studios and creative work spaces in the region, featuring four weekends showcasing artists, and local creative businesses from across Southern Arizona. Over 275 individual artists and artist groups will participate in the record setting Open Studio Tours expanded multi-weekend format.
Southern Arizona Arts and Cultural Alliance and Tucson Originals presented the 11th annual World Margarita Championship on September 30, 2016.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - The band was hot and the drinks were tangy. Restaurants from across Tucson brought new life to the classic margarita as they battled for the title of World Margarita Champion. From vegetable infused to a bacon garnish these cocktails were anything but traditional.
On Friday, September 30th, a panel of local culinary experts, as well as the event attendees, voted for their favorite margaritas paired with small bites including Sonoran shrimp ceviche from Bisbee Breakfast Club, Kobe beef tacos from Casino Del Sol, and Seafood Albondigas from Kingfisher Bar & Grill to name just a few.
