Kate Marquez, Executive Director of the Southern Arizona Arts and Cultural Alliance, will advise the Americans for the Arts Private Sector Council
Kate Marquez is the Executive Director of the Southern Arizona Arts and Cultural Alliance (SAACA). SAACA’s mission is the dedication to the preservation, advancement and creation of the Arts. During her ten years with the nonprofit organization, Kate successfully spearheaded the expansion of the organization into a regional arts alliance. In addition, Marquez is the founding Director of the Southern Arizona Business Committee for the Arts, a key programming effort of SAACA which seeks to create and expand impactful partnerships between the business sector and our creative communities, while providing businesses and employees with a competitive advantage. She currently directs the organization and is responsible for overall agency direction, programming, fundraising, advocacy and management of external relationships and collaborations.
