First issue debuts January 23, 2017.
(TUCSON, Ariz.) - The Southern Arizona Arts & Cultural Alliance (SAACA) is pleased to announce the official launch of UNDERCOVER ARTS magazine, Southern Arizona's most comprehensive Arts & Cultural Resource Directory. The inaugural issue will be available beginning January 23, 2017. The much anticipated annual magazine was developed with the goal of illuminating the rich cultural diversity found in the artists, organization and creative resources available in our community.
"We feel that there is incredible energy and excitement right now supporting arts and culture in Southern Arizona, but often the stories of many artistic people and places often go untold and unknown" says Kate Marquez, SAACA's Executive Director. "UNDERCOVER ARTS paints a colorful canvas of our creative community. For us, it's the perfect time to launch a magazine giving a voice to these unheard tales of art, talent, dreams, luck and hard work."
UNDERCOVER ARTS will have a starting circulation of 20,000. Distribution will include SAACA community events throughout the year, direct mail to advertisers, and community pickup locations at dozens of businesses in Southern Arizona. They will also always be available at all SAACA events and at SAACA's offices located at 7225 N. Oracle Road, Ste 112".
In the inaugural issue, readers can learn more about the hundreds of artists, musicians, educators, culinary artisans, performing artists and organizations which make up the vibrant arts and cultural heart of Southern Arizona.
